Modulo N Operation. Nov 27, 2020 · a ≡ b (mod n) and n is called the modulus of a congruence. In computing, the modulo operation returns the remainder or signed remainder of a division, after one number is divided by another (called the modulus of the operation).
In computing and computer science, the term can be used in several ways: Two integers a and b are said to be congruent modulo n, a ≡ b(modn), if all of the following are true: A) m ∣ (a − b).
Fun with modular arithmetic 4.
B) both a and b have the same remainder when divided by n. There is one leaving at 14:00. That remainder is what the modulo operation returns. Fun with modular arithmetic 4.
