I Modulo 2. The following table describes the xor operation: What is the process of modulo 2 division?
In computing, the modulo operation returns the remainder or signed remainder of a division, after one number is divided by another (called the modulus of the operation). The resulting remainder is also smaller compared to when both numbers are positive. Second, we multiply the whole part of the quotient in the previous step by the divisor (2).

Each digit is considered independently from its neighbours. In western mathematics, german mathematician and physicist carl friedrich gaussdid the first systematic study of modular arithmetic. Thanks, gohton january 17, 2013: As neither z nor x is zero, the addition and subtraction operators must behave in the same way.
